  • Career Highlights: A pair of hard-luck results in recent events have kept Aukhadov from having gold draped around his neck. Competing at the 2011 European Championships, Aukhadov posted an aggregate of 385 kilograms (173 in the snatch, 212 in the clean and jerk) to match fellow Russian Aleksey Yufkin, who won gold due to a lighter body weight. At the 2011 Junior Championships, Aukhadov posted a total of 378 kilos, equaling Iran’s Kianoush Rostami. However, Aukhadov was heavier than his competitor. Regardless, Aukhadov was selected as the second-best lifter at the event as part of a Russian team that claimed 16 medals, including three golds.
